One of the things I’ve learned here is to look at the whole picture. Look at the culture, the values, and pay attention to the systemic issues that make up the life of the person. Before Erikson, I felt discouraged and overwhelmed by challenges I’d see in children and families I worked with. Now, I feel hope again, because along with my peers, I’m learning and working to be an agent of change.
